Harvest time is swiftly approaching here at Quincey Cattle Beef. In the photo above, Mr. Don Quincey, owner and founder, closely monitors our oat crop to ensure the proper time for harvesting. Oats are an incredibly important part of our several rations fed to cattle in different phases of the growing process. Oats are high in fiber, aiding in the digestion process. Additionally, they are a high-energy source to ensure our cattle are given essential carbohydrates in their balanced diets. We are proud to say that over 85% of the commodities fed to our cattle are produced within 20 miles of our ranch, resulting in stimulation of our local economy as well as reduced carbon footprint.
